Not too long ago, the Perry Chamber of Commerce officially unveiled their new downtown maps, which feature the artwork of Betsy Peterson Designs.
Since then, Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says she’s been very pleased by the map’s reception. “With so many new businesses, and kind of the look and feel changing downtown, it seemed like a really good time to introduce a project like this. And so it’s been really positive and really well received so far from our businesses, from visitors already seeing that, because it’s a really attractive-looking map. And (it’s) informative, because we haven’t had something quite like that before.”
Pasutti adds, the map of downtown is the starting point to what could one day be a full map of Perry. To help with the overall distribution of the map as it currently is, she says it’s been sent out in this month’s water bills to all Perry residents. Statistics have shown that most people travel to visit friends and family, so Pasutti is hopeful that people will use the map when they have those guests from out of town. That way, they can all have a good idea of where they may want to go during their stay in Perry.
