The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The first three items on the agenda each relate to the Secondary Roads Department, starting with a Farm to Market Review Board application. Next, they will consider a contract with Clear Path for weather and pavement forecasting services and support. The Board will also set the time and date for a public hearing on a road vacation for I Court. At 9:30 and 9:45 a.m., the Supervisors will hold public hearings relating to easements on the Raccoon River Valley Trail between the County and MidAmerican Energy. The first is for access, and the second is for underground electric.
There will be a third public hearing at 10, which will focus on a maintenance agreement for a pioneer cemetery on private property. Following that, the Board will consider the approval of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) forms, as well as an amended Xenia water user agreement for the law enforcement center. Other items on the agenda include: Board appointments to the Veterans Affairs Commission; a Metropolitan Planning Organization 28E agreement and bylaw amendments; and possible discussion on the service coordinator position for area 1A of the Healthcare Coalition.
Finally, the Board will go into two closed sessions, the first to discuss purchase of real estate, and the second for pending litigation for encroachment on County property. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
