Halloween is Wednesday and the communities in Greene County have slated their respective Beggars Nights for trick-or-treating.

On Tuesday, October 30th, Paton’s Beggars’ Night will be from 5 to 6:30pm, Churdan’s will start at dusk, while Grand Junction’s suggested time is from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Additionally, there will be “Trunk-or-Treat” that will take place in downtown Grand Junction at the same time, along with the fire station’s “safe house.” The library will also have a haunted house and they will serve hot dogs beginning at 5pm.

Then on Wednesday, October 31st all of the other communities will have their Beggars’ Night. The City of Rippey’s suggested time is from 5 to 7pm, with snacks and treats to be served at the library beginning at 4. Scranton’s citywide Beggars’ Night will be from 5 to 7pm, while Jefferson’s is from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
