Spooktacular 2017 2

Here’s a reminder for when and where families can go trick-or-treating this year for the cities in Dallas County.

Perry has Beggar’s Night on Tuesday, which starts with the Chamber of Commerce Spooktacular event from 4-6 p.m. on 2nd Street. Citywide trick-or-treating will then run from 6-8. Additionally, there is a “Trunk-or-Treat” from 4-6 at First Christian Church, Dallas County Hospital’s “Safe and Healthy Halloween” from 5-6:30, and a Halloween party at Rowley Masonic Community from 6-7:30. Adel and Woodward will also have citywide trick-or-treating on Tuesday, which will run from 6-8 p.m. in both communities.

There are also several cities in the County that will celebrate on Wednesday, which is Halloween Night. Dawson’s citywide trick-or-treating will be from 5-7 p.m., and City officials remind people there is no Halloween Party this year as it has been changed to a Fall Festival celebration in November. Minburn will be hosting a “Trunk-or-Treat” Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 on Baker Street. Meanwhile, both Redfield and Van Meter will have public parties from 5-6 p.m., followed by citywide trick-or-treating from 6-8. Finally, DeSoto and Dexter are both having Beggar’s Night running from 6-8.
