A sentencing hearing has been scheduled after an Ankeny woman pled guilty to a felony drug offense in Guthrie County.

The charge stems from a July 28th incident in which court documents show a narcotics investigation was conducted into 32-year-old Whitney Lynn Muhlenburg. A Guthrie County Deputy set up a purchase of methamphetamine through social media with Muhlenburg at the Hometown Foods parking lot in Guthrie Center. Muhlenburg was detained and about four grams of methamphetamine was acquired. Muhlenburg was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a class C felony. Court documents show she withdrew her previous not-guilty plea and filed a guilty plea. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the Guthrie County Courthouse.
