On Monday, the Perry Public Library is inviting kids and their families to their Family Harvest Party.

Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel says the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room, and promises it will be a fun time for all. “I usually try to do one or two holiday parties in the late fall, because we have so many holidays (then). And so this is going to be a harvest family party, so all those young families are welcome to come. We’re going to focus on those fall leaves changing — they’re so pretty — and pumpkins!”

Kestel says the party will include games like “Pass the Pumpkin,” and other activities such as crafts, leaves in a parachute, and individual stations throughout the library. There will also be a snack provided. The Family Harvest Party is free to attend and no registration is required. For more information, stop into the library and talk to Kestel, or give them a call at 515-465-3569.
