Iowa football great Chuck Long will be at the Monday, October 29 Jefferson Rotary Club meeting at Jefferson Community Golf Course, and non-Rotarians are welcome to attend. The meeting is from noon-1 p.m. and there is a charge for the meal.

The former U. of Iowa and NFL quarterback will be signing copies of his just-released biography titled “Destined for Greatness” as well as speaking about his career. He still holds several Hawkeye records although his college career ended in 1985. Long resides in Ankeny and works in Ames as the CEO and Executive Director of the Iowa Sports Foundation.
