Perry Vandal Vehicle

It’s been nearly a month since the entryway of Perry High School was vandalised with spray paint, and the Perry Crime Stoppers organization is offering a reward for information.

The crime occurred at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, September 30th, the same day as Perry’s Latino Festival. The Perry Police Department believe the vandalism, which read “Report Illegals” and included the number for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, was targeted at the attendees of the festival held at the school. With the help of security camera footage provided by the school, officers pulled an image of the vehicle of the suspected vandals and they’re hopeful it will help identify the individuals responsible.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has any information about the incident is encouraged to reach out to the Crime Stoppers group at 515-465-5661. The organization is offering up to $500 as a reward for any information that leads to the apprehension of the perpetrators. The Perry Police reminds people that any information can be given anonymously.
