3:59am: An officer responded to a Fire Alarm Activation at 777 Wild Rose Lane. There was no fire and it was determined to be a false alarm.

8:03am: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Washington Street.

9:30am: Nelson carman reported a loose horse near the 600 Block of West Central Ave. The officer did not locate the horse.

10:00am: Adrienne Smith reported two loose dogs running in the 300 Block of South Wilson Ave. The officer did not locate the animals.

11:08am: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of West Lincoln Way Street resulted in Alex Oquendo Santigo of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”

2:04pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Wilson Avenue resulted in Heather Riley of Lohrville being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

4:47pm: An officer investigated a Property Damage Accident at 507 North Elm Street. A 2009 Chevrolet Impala, owned and operated by Elnor Black, was backing from a parking spot onto Clark Street and struck a passing vehicle. The 1997 Chevrolet C15 was owned by Chad Davis and operated by Matt Cummings both of Jefferson. The Black vehicle suffered a reported $1000.00 in damages, while the Davis vehicle had a reported $200.00 in damages. Black was cited for, “Unsafe Backing Upon a Highway.”

11:53pm: Officers were called to 202 West Adams Street for a reported kitchen Fire. Officers arrived and the small fire was out, but Jefferson Fire was dispatched to make sure it was fine. During the event, the officers determined an 18 year-old-male resident was extremely intoxicated in the residence. It was determined that the male had just returned home after walking to Hy Vee. Charges for Possession of Alcohol Underage are pending at this time.
