This coming Wednesday, Raccoon Valley Radio will be presenting a special election program, which will feature the candidates from each of the contested county-specific offices.
For Dallas County, we will be featuring the races for Board of Supervisors, Districts 1 and 3, County Treasurer, and County Attorney. For the District 1 Supervisor seat, the candidates are incumbent Republican Brad Golightly of Perry and Democratic challenger Breanna Morman of Dawson. The District 3 Supervisor seat has a crowded field, featuring incumbent Republican Kim Chapman of Adel, Democrat Pat Stalter of Van Meter, and Michael “Wombat” Walrod of De Soto and Robert Greenway of De Soto, who are both running with no party affiliation.
Our program will also feature interviews with incumbent Dallas County Treasurer Mitch Hambleton of Dallas Center, a Republican, and his challenger Democrat Julie Stewart of Waukee.
