The Friends of the Perry Public Library invite the community to gather their teams and bone up on their Halloween knowledge for the upcoming Spooktacular Trivia event.

The contest is the latest edition of the Friends’ popular trivia series, and will be hosted Thursday, October 25th at La Poste starting at 6:30 p.m. Friends group member Lois Hoger says given the event’s holiday proximity, participants can expect categories that trend toward the macabre. “All the questions are going to have to do with Halloween, (so) organize your teams. And if you want to come dressed in a costume, we have prizes for the top three costumes. Wonderful prizes, from the Perry merchants!”

Cost to participate is $10 per person, with all proceeds going to the Friends of the Perry Library to help pay for future programs and events. Teams can sign up ahead of time or the night of the event, though teams who register early may get to pick a category.
