The Perry Jayette volleyball team will travel to Boone tonight for a Class 4A Regional opener tonight. The Jayettes finished the regular season with a mark of 7-31 and lost to Boone twice during the regular season. Perry fell 2-0 in the Jayette Invitational in late August and followed with a 3-1 home loss a week later. Kacie Nevitt has been the main weapon for the Jayettes leading the team in kills and ace serves. Perry’s service line performance will be the key against a Boone team that struggled late in the season, losing their final eleven matches heading into tonight’s postseason opener.
