A former Jefferson and Bagley man, who is accused of killing an Iowa State University student, has pled not guilty.
According to court documents, 22-year-old Collin Richards submitted a written plea of not guilty to his charge of a Class A Felony for first degree murder for allegedly killing Celia Arozamena. Law enforcement found the victim’s body in a pond off of the ninth hole of the Coldwater Golf Links in Ames on Monday, September 17th. Richards, who is homeless, was arrested by authorities after finding evidence near the scene. Richards is being held in Story County Jail on a $5 million cash-only bond.
