Areas in Guthrie County have seen a 5-9.9% decline in high school graduation rates.
According to the Iowa Legislative Services Agency for the Class of 2017 the northwest and southeast portions of Guthrie County have a four-year-graduation rate between 90.1% and 95% respectively. Compared to the Class of 2012 rate, those same portions had a decrease of 5-9.9%. The central to northeast portions of the county have a 95.1-100% respective graduation rate, which saw a 4.9-5% decrease from 2012. The southwest portion of the county was not measured due to smaller class sizes. Overall, the statewide average increased by 1.9% from 2012-2017.
