With the changing of the seasons, the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is also changing over to their winter sports programs.

The Middle School Pre-Season Basketball Camp will be held from Tuesday, October 16th through 18th from 3:45 to 5pm. Instructors Mary Pedersen and Jeff Lamoureux will teach participants new skills and improve their basketball skills to make them better players.  Cost to participate is $15 and the camp will be held at the middle school gym.

There has also been a change to one of the programs that’s next week. On Monday, Art on the Fly will hold one class from 1 to 2:30pm. Kids will get to paint a Witchy Poo-themed canvas. Cost to participate is $20 which includes all of the supplies.
