The People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is holding their annual microchip clinic tomorrow in Jefferson.
It will take place at Kelso Park from 10am to noon. Your pet can have a simple procedure done to install a location microchip with detailed information including demographic information about the owner. The 24PetWatch microchip is the size of a grain of rice and each one has a unique identification number that can be scanned by a veterinarian or an animal shelter if the pet is lost or gets away from its owner.
It costs $20 per pet and appointments are appreciated. To schedule an appointment, contact the Greene County Animal Shelter at 386-9814 or email them at pawsofgreenecounty@hotmail.com. Walk-ins are also welcomed.
