Next week is National 4-H Week.
Greene County Extension is encouraging everyone to get involved to help support the 200 4-H’ers in the county. Businesses are invited to decorate their storefront windows, 4-H’ers can wear their 4-H shirts and post a selfie on social media, and current 4-H’ers are encouraged to refer a new member to the program. Plus, there is a contest for the best decorated window, and the winning 4-H club will get a pizza party. Banners will also be hung around the downtown square in Jefferson in recognition of the week.
National 4-H Week is October 7th through the 13th.
