A reminder: Cindy Axne, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress for District 3, will be in Perry today for a meet and greet event.

The Perry Area Democrats are hosting the event, which will be held at the Perry Perk Coffee Shop at 1201 Warford Street from 2-3:30 p.m. today. The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend, though campaign donations are always accepted. Axne is vying for the seat held by incumbent Republican Congressman David Young, along with fellow challenger Libertarian Bryan Holder. Election Day is November 6th, and absentee voting begins Monday.
