Believe it or not, the 2018-19 school year is almost at the six-week mark, which means it’s almost time for the first parent-teacher conferences of the year for the Greene County School District.
Superintendent Tim Christensen reminds all parents and guardians to attend the conferences as a way to build positive relationships with their child’s teachers. He says positive relationships play an extremely important role in providing the best educational opportunities for students. He also encourages parents and guardians to ask teachers about the real world experiences they are providing students for them to become lifelong learners, which Christensen says goes along with the district’s vision and mission statement.
Conferences will take place at the high school on Thursday, October 11th from 4 to 9pm. The middle school conferences will be from 4 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 16th and Thursday, October 18th. Conferences at the elementary school will be on Tuesday, November 13th and Thursday, November 15th from 4 to 7:30pm.
