A current member of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity volleyball team will continue playing the sport in college. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network in August talked with senior Jordyn Crow about her plans for life after she graduates in May during an ADM Student Spotlight Interview. She shared with us her intentions on staying in state to play college volleyball. “I think I’m planning on going to Northwestern College in Orange City,” Crow said, “(I’ve) actually been talking to their coach and hopefully I’ll get a volleyball scholarship to play with (the Red Raiders). I’d like to study elementary education and go into (that) field.”

The ADM Volleyball team shared on Twitter last Saturday afternoon a picture of Crow signing a letter of intent to join the Northwestern College volleyball team next fall. Crow tops the Raccoon River Conference with 52 total blocks (26 solo, 26 assisted) as a middle blocker for the Tigers. She’s also smashed 69 kills to the floor this season, ranking her third on ADM’s squad. Crow and the Tigers varsity volleyball team resume their season tonight at home against the Boone Toreadors. First serve takes place around 7 p.m. at ADM’s high school gymnasium in Adel.
