Your first chance to see the entirety of the Perry Marching Band’s 2018 show is today at the Urbandale Marching Band Invitational, and the public is invited to cheer on the “Blue Brigade.”
Band Director Brad Sparks says the band will perform all three parts of their show, titled “The Forest through the Trees,” though he’s unsure if they will have the choreography ready to go for part three. The “Blue Brigade” will take the field at Urbandale High School at approximately 6:35 p.m., right after the first break of the evening. They are one of 19 bands performing, and one of six in class 3A. The awards presentation will be held following all the performances, and is scheduled to begin at around 10 p.m.
