Hatmakers RC 1

The Perry Chamber of Commerce has caught ribbon-cutting fever, as they hosted their second such event in less than a week Monday morning.

This particular celebration was to welcome Hatmakers Plumbing Supply to the Chamber, which officially opened for business a week ago. With the ribbon-cutting, they’re now also official members of the Perry Chamber. The event started with Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti introducing owners Keith and Kim Hatmaker. Keith talked about his history as a plumber and how he got into the sale of plumbing supplies. He also answered some questions posed by attendees. Following that, everyone gathered outside, where Kim took hold of the oversized ceremonial scissors and cut the ribbon.

Pasutti was pleased with how the event went, particularly the support shown by the community. “We had a great turnout; it’s always great to see who comes out to support these ribbon cuttings. Lots of our fellow business owners and community members, some of our Council members as well. So it’s just nice to show our support to these new businesses that come out. This one in particular, out here in East Perry Plaza on a Monday morning, even then we get a good turnout. So it’s a great support!”

The ribbon-cutting was the first of several Chamber events this week, as they will To learn more about all of those events, click the link below to listen to the Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program with Pasutti.
