Thursday, September 27th

8:26am: Harrison RV reported Criminal Mischief occurring at 1200 North Elm Street overnight. Someone had shut power off to the business and tied an air hose to an RV. Camera footage provided to the officer shows a young male was responsible for the event. The officer is working to identify the juvenile.

11:46am: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of South Olive Street.

3:57pm: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of South Oak Street resulted in Melissa Belthius of Harcourt being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Operation without Registration.”

4:06pm: Vickie Williams reported a possible No Contact Violation, which occurred at 702 West Mahlon Street. The officer is investigating.

4:36pm: A caller requested officers at 801 West Mahlon Street. Officers arrived and learned the caller’s father had assaulted the caller and her brother. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Rickie Eugene Tuhn for, “Assault – Simple and Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Serious.”

5:05pm: Bonnie Steinfadt advised she had locked herself out of her residence and requested assistance from an officer in the 900 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer was not able to gain entry into the home.

5:37pm: Tamera Keck reported neighborhood children had thrown mud on the side of her residence at 704 West South Street. She requested the officer speak to the children’s parents. The officer advised the children’s parents of the events.

7:10pm: ER advised of a 20-month-old with a possible Dog Bite at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer arrived and made contact with the child and a parent. The officer determined the dog had scratched the child during a game of Tug of War and a bite had not occurred.

8:10pm: A subject brought Snap Chats of possible Narcotic Activity to an officer’s attention at the LEC. The officer is investigating.
