You may find this hard to believe, but the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance (GDCDA) has been in operation since 1988. This coming Wednesday they’ll be celebrating their 30th anniversary, and the public is invited to attend.

The event will be held on September 26th at the Des Moines Country Club along Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines, starting at 5 p.m. The keynote speaker for the event will be Mike Miles, who is the General Manager for Microsoft’s Datacenter Community Development. Cost to attend the celebration is $50 per person, which can be paid at the door, and RSVP’s are required. When reserving your seat or table, you will be able to select a dinner entree choice, which includes prime rib, sauteed chicken piccata, or charbroiled Atlantic salmon fillet.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the programs and projects GDCDA operates throughout Dallas County every year, such as work on the Perry Industrial Park and the new Woodward Green Industrial Park. To RSVP, reach out to GDCDA by phone at 515-987-2020 by Tuesday, September 25th.
