Raymond Lee Murray, age 48 of 6648 Holcomb Circle, Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for theft.

Darrin Clemens Spellman, age 24 of 1800 Linden St., Dallas Center was arrested for driving while barred.

Joann Wiley of Adel was stopped at the intersection of Highway 6 and R Ave., when a vehicle driven by Derek Hurford of West Des Moines approached Wiley’s vehicle from the rear and struck her vehicle causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries reported.

Jose Vasquez Rodriguez of Perry was traveling west in the 17000 block of Highway 141 diagonal when he lost control and began swerving. He went off onto the gravel shoulder losing control and entering the ditch, striking a power line pole. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00. Vasquez Rodriguez was cited for failure to maintain control.
