Tomorrow marks the 11th time the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers and the Harlan Cyclones have squared off on the gridiron. Harlan’s won nine of the previous 10 games versus the Tigers. ADM’s lone victory in the series came in October 2014, defeating the Cyclones 35-30 in Adel. ADM and Harlan are meeting for the seventh straight season in district play tomorrow night, and Tiger first-year head football coach Garrison Carter is ready for the challenge of facing the Cyclones. “This isn’t (the ) Harlan versus ADM (football game) of all-time, this is (ADM’s) group of guys this year against (Harlan’s) group of guys this year,” Carter said, “If you’re not so focused about the names on the jerseys and you focus on lining up and playing the game, I think that our kids not only belong on the same field as (Harlan) but I think we can certainly line up and have a chance to win it. Hopefully, we can keep pounding that in our kids’ heads.”

Harlan enters district play with a 3-1 record and is coming off a 56-14 victory last Friday night at home against the Atlantic Trojans. The Cyclones only loss of the season came week two at home against Sergeant Bluff-Luton, 34-32.
