A private service with military honors was be held at the Jefferson Cemetery for Richard Lane, 91, of Jefferson.  Memorials may be directed to the Jefferson Public Library.  Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson is assisting the family.  Survivors include:  Wife, Jan.  Children, Pam Hulsey of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Paula Wiltman of Le Mars, Randy Lane of Afton and Joe Lane of Jefferson.  Grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Siblings, Bill Lane, Clyde Lane, Ron Lane and Pat Triplet.
