Back-to-back second-place finishes to start the 2018 race season has West Central Valley junior Louden Foster moving up the Class 1A Individual rankings. The Iowa Association of Track Coaches released their week three team and individual rankings for the 2018 cross country season Tuesday afternoon; Foster jumped up from 22nd place to 11th place in the organizations Class 1A individual poll. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network saw Foster’s runner-up performance at last Thursday’s Wildcat Cross Country Classic at Menlo’s 5 x 80 golf course. His race time of 17:15 was 10 seconds behind Nodaway Valley’s Josh Baudler for first place. Foster and the West Central Valley Wildcats cross country teams resume their competition season tomorrow afternoon in the annual Greene County Cross Country Invitational at Spring Lake outside of Jefferson.
