Registration is currently open for an annual economic development event in the Guthrie County region. Midwest Partnership’s Employer Educator Summit will be at the Lake Panorama National Resort and Conference Center in Panora on Monday, October 10th.

Over 250 employers, educators, economic development professionals, government officials, and students are expected to attend.The summit is designed to help bridge the workforce gap by engaging students with early initiatives to prepare them for the diverse workforce. The event will feature presentations from Iowa Economic Development Director Debi Durham. Other components include a discussion on federal regulations related to hiring youth, local program incentives, a resource and collaboration toolkit, and the presentation of the Workforce Warrior Award.

The summit is from 9am-3pm and registration is required.
