The Jefferson Elks Lodge #2306 is once again hosting the Heroes Dinner on Tuesday, September 11th.  

The free event is to honor any active or veteran military personnel, National Guard or Reserve personnel, along with law enforcement, firefighters, emergency and first responders in Greene County and their spouses. It will start with a social time at 6pm, followed by a meal at 6:30. A short program will begin at 7:15, featuring Command Sergeant Major Jeremy Strasser of the 1st Battalion 194th Field Artillery and Greene County Medical Center Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. The evening will wrap up with the playing of Taps.
