Right before the final Scoop the Loop of the summer, the Stuart Revitalization Committee will be giving community members a chance to bring the streets some color. The committee will be hosting the inaugural Chalk the Town event on Saturday, September 8th from noon-3pm on the sidewalks surrounding Stuart City Hall.

Chalk will be guaranteed to the first 35 entries though participants can use their own chalk as well. An ideabook will also be available for those who need a little more inspiration for their concrete canvas. There will be three age-based divisions for judging, including: Family Squares for participants ages 10 and under with an adult, Youth Squares for those ages 11-17, and Adult Squares for those 18 and older.

Registration begins at noon and judging will take place around 2:45pm.
