Here’s a reminder that several public offices and buildings will be closed on Monday in celebration of the Labor Day holiday in Guthrie County. City Hall offices, post offices, and public libraries in Stuart, Panora, and Guthrie Center will all be closed, as will the Guthrie County Courthouse. Several banks and other businesses will also be closed in observance of the holiday.

As for garbage routes, in Stuart the garbage pickup will remain as scheduled on Monday. Residents in Guthrie Center, Jamaica, and Lake Panorama will have their garbage picked up on Tuesday. All Tuesday routes with Jensen Sanitation will be picked up as normal.
