The annual “Cyhawk” football game between Iowa State University and the University of Iowa is coming up on Saturday, September 8th. To get people energized for the game, while also helping a good cause, Mercy Clinics Family Medicine in Adel will be hosting a tailgate food donation drive the day before.

The event will be on Friday, September 7th, from 1-5 p.m. at the Adel Mercy Clinics located at 1120 Greene Street, and all you need to attend is a non-perishable food donation. The tailgate is being co-sponsored by the Adel Police Department, and will include a family-friendly afternoon filled with games, food, and fun. All food donations will go directly to the Adel Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to wear their red or gold to the party to show their allegiance for the Cyhawk game.
