10:35am: Matt Crawford reported a driving complaint on Highway 30.
12:22pm: John Reineman reported a political sign that was obstructing the view of an intersection at West Adams Street and North Grimmell Road.
1:30pm: Officers assisted a state probation officer with a visit of a client of his at 203 South Cedar Street.
3:27pm: An officer assisted Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 700 block of Pinet Place.
3:40pm: An officer assisted the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office with a civil issue.
5:15pm: An officer responded to 203 South Cedar Street for a report of drug paraphernalia located in the residence.
7:44pm: An officer responded to the Wild Rose Casino (777 Wild Rose Lane) for a parking complaint. Larry Feld of Carroll was issued a Parking Violation for Parking in a Person with Disabilities parking space.
8:15pm: John Dolph spoke with an officer about a civil issue.
8:21pm: David Schrunk spoke with an office about a civil issue.
8:31pm: Staff at the Cobble Stone Hotel spoke with an officer about a parking issue.
8:44pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and 220th Street, Andrew Alsot of Wonder Lake, IL was issued a citation for Excessive Speed.
8:59pm: An officer responded to 501 South Vine Street to remove a bat from the residence.
9:50pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Elm Street, Dustin Brobst of Perry was issued a citation for Excessive Speed.
10:12pm: Staff at White Oak Station (303 North Elm Street) reported a suspicious male.
11:11pm: Todd Muir reported an enclosed trailer that was stolen from his property located at 708 North Wilson Avenue. An officer is investigating.
Saturday, August 25th
12:39am: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of West South Street and South Grimmell Road , David Most of Jefferson was issued a citation for Fail to Obey Stop or Yield Sign.
12:46am: An officer located an open door at 900 East Highway 30.
1:06am: An officer located an open door at 401 East Central Street.
10:22am: Richard Shell reported a driving complaint on Highway 30.
2:20pm: An officer responded to 707 West Harrison Street for a motion alarm. Everything was found to be okay.
3:33pm: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of 220th and North Mulberry, Jose Diaz-Corona of Perry was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended.
4:07pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Washington Street, Olvin Agular of Jefferson was issued a citation for Fail to Have Valid License While Operating Motor Vehicle.
5:17pm: An officer responded to 404 East Harrison Street for a backing accident. Terence Bingley of Jefferson was backing out of his driveway in his 2007 Chevy Silverado and struck a parked 2006 Ford Taurus in the roadway, causing $500 in damages to his vehicle and $3,000 in damages to the Taurus. Terence was issued a citation for Unsafe Backing Upon Highway.
8:12pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Lincoln Way, Maggie Havens of Jefferson as issued a citation for excessive speed.
11:48pm: An officer located an open door at 407 East Central Street.
Sunday, August 26th
12:03am: As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of South Elm Street and West Vest Street, Curtis Bergemann (54) of Jefferson was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. He was also issued a citation for Fail to Display Registration Plate and Failure to Carry Registration Card.
1:06am: An officer responded to 200 American Avenue for an alarm. Everything was found to be okay.
1:46pm: An officer spoke with a juvenile at the Law Enforcement Center about his bad behavior.
2:39pm: An officer responded to 200 American Avenue for an alarm. Everything was found to be okay.
4:02pm: Officers responded to the 100 block of East Lincoln Way for a traffic accident. Garry Devilbiss was traveling eastbound in the 100 block of East Lincoln Way in his 1999 Chevy Tahoe when he struck a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis that was parked legally on the south side of the road. The Tahoe sustained $1,000 in damages and the Grand Marquis sustained $3,000 in damages. Mr. Devilbiss was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control.
4:48pm: An officer responded to 702 West Lincoln Way for a dog running loose.
10:10pm: An officer spoke with a subject at the intersection of East Lincoln way and Locust Street about a medical issue.
