A change in head coaches is bringing new faces out for football this fall at Adel-Desoto-Minburn Community Schools. A total of 68 kids, freshman through senior, make up this year’s Tigers football roster, an increase of 17 kids from last season. ADM opened the 2018 season with a 17-7 victory last Friday on the road against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays. On the Fullers Petroleum Postgame Show, first-year head football coach Garrison Carter spoke about the newcomers who are making plays already this season. “Nolan Harsh made plays, Cody Anderson’s making plays, Andrew Flora’s making plays,” Carter said, “All three of those kids were not even out for football last year. Kolten Benz is out there running around, (he) wasn’t out for football last year. That makes a huge difference.”

The four players Carter mentioned combined for 12.5 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery in the victory over Bondurant-Farrar. The ADM Tiger varsity football team hosts the Perry Bluejays Friday night in their home opener.
