Another tradition honoring a former West Central Valley coach and teacher will kick off on Saturday. The first annual Jeff Pease Flag Football Classic flag football tournament and fundraiser will be from 8am-5pm at West Central Valley High School.
Tournament Coordinator Tom Stiles tells Raccoon Valley Radio they have filled all eight available slots for teams. He says they are extremely excited for Saturday and pleased with the support from the community. The tournament is a double-elimination style with the winning team receiving a cash prize.
The concession stand will be open throughout the day and there will also be a raffle. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards scholarships for graduating seniors.
