The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with the Board giving out certificates of appreciation to seven County employees for their years of service, ranging from 5-25 years. Following that, they will have discussion and possible action regarding a funding request from Dallas County Homecare Services, which was originally presented at last week’s meeting. They will also continue discussion on the shuffling of departments at the courthouse, which has been a continual topic for the last several months but appears to be nearing a resolution.
The Board will also get an update on the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce trail improvement project, followed by consideration of a clinical engineering contract with Unitypoint Health for the Emergency Medical Services Department. They may also continue discussion on the Healthcare Coalition service coordinator position for area 1A. Finally, the Board will consider going into a closed session to discuss purchase of real estate. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
