When Perry Chamber of Commerce members said they wanted more Lunch and Learn programs, they definitely got what they wished for. There’s already been two programs in August, and a third will be held this Tuesday.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the next Lunch and Learn program will be held from 12:30 – 2 p.m. on August 28th at Betsy Peterson Designs. She explains what the topic for the event will be. “The topic is the Retail Academy. It’s the recent retail analysis that the City of Perry, Perry Economic Development, and the Chamber of Commerce all went in together to get this analysis done; so that we can get a better handle on the retail gap in Perry (and) opportunities that lie there. Either with existing businesses or future businesses to attract to town.”

Pasutti adds, potential attendees will need to RSVP today in order to make sure they get a lunch, which will be provided by Perry Perk. However, people can still RSVP all the way up until the event or walk in, though they won’t be guaranteed a meal. The program is free to attend, but lunch is $8.
