The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
Following the City Administrator’s report, Mayor and Council comments, and open forum, the Council will consider the second pay request for release of retainage with Harland Concrete for work done on the Park Street widening project. After that, they will consider a change order of $5,588 for the Willis Avenue Bridge project, which is to cover temporary stream diversion related to heavy rainfall. Also related to the bridge, the Council will consider a pay request for $147,368.50 from Elder Corporation for work completed on the project.
In new business, the Council will discuss an agreement between the City and the Iowa State University Institute for Design Research and Outreach. ISU students will be working on a master plan for the Perry Parks and Recreation Department, which will be formulated throughout the coming fall semester and then presented to the City. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
