Lee Coons, owner of Raccoon River Valley Bike Company in Perry, opened his doors early Friday morning to welcome attendees to the August Perry Chamber Coffee.

The store was filled with Chamber of Commerce members and members of the public, who were treated to refreshments, including homemade coffee cake. They also partook in conversation and networking, which have become the hallmark of Chamber Coffee events. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti then gathered everyone together in a circle, and invited Coons to talk about his business. She then discussed some upcoming Chamber events, before sending it around the circle for all the attendees to introduce themselves. Some also gave updates on some of their own upcoming activities.

The Chamber hosts the coffee events the second Friday of every month, and Pasutti says they’re a great way for people to get to know the community and learn about what’s going on in Perry.
