In April the Stuart Public Library hosted a book signing featuring a collaboration between an area author and local illustrator. On Saturday there will be another signing for a second collaboration. From 10am-noon the library will be hosting a signing for the new children’s book, “Yeti in my Beddy.” The book is written by Dexter native Ginnie Padden and illustrated by recent West Central Valley High School graduate Becca Winfred.

Library Director Lisa Sherman is pleased with the collaborative efforts of the book, especially by two locals. “This children’s book is absolutely awesome. I love reading it. So I’m very excited about that.”

Padden and Winfred’s first collaboration was the action thriller, “Holy Ones.” The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will also be served.
