Tomorrow, Dallas County Conservation is hosting a program offering hands-on practice in using skulls to identify animals.

Conservation is calling the event “It’s All in Your Head,” and it will be held from 2-3 p.m. at the Forest Park Museum and Arboretum in Perry. Participants will be guided by staff through skull identification, and will see how much can be learned by looking at things like teeth, eye sockets, “ear bulbs,” and nose cavities. Additionally, attendees are invited to bring any skulls they may have come across and collected in their travels around Dallas County.
