midwest-partnershipMidwest Partnership will soon begin their second year of a business appreciation and identification program. From Wednesday, August 8th through Friday, August 10th, Midwest Partnership representatives will visit businesses in Stuart with their Small Business Visit Blitz program. The blitz is sponsored by the City of Stuart and the Stuart Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to learning about the businesses and assisting them in their development, Midwest Partnership asks participating businesses to fill out a survey. The Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) surveys are designed to identify red flags, growth opportunities, and community issues affecting the local employers. Midwest Partnership’s Executive Director Sarah Gomez and Economic Development Coordinator Stacie Euken will be joined by City of Stuart Economic Development Director Kristen Renslow and Stuart Chamber of Commerce Director Brenda Dudley during the blitz.

The Panora area was the first to benefit from the program back in July of 2017. Since then, they have conducted blitzes in several communities in Guthrie and Adair counties, including Adair, Casey, Menlo, and Greenfield.
