A week from tomorrow, the City of Bayard will be holding a special election for a vacancy on their City Council.

Eligible voters can vote at the Bayard Public Library between 7am and 8pm on Tuesday, August 7th. The two candidates listed on the ballot are Jack Stone and LeeRoy Wagner, who currently holds the vacant seat by appointment. The winner will fill the remainder of outgoing Council Member Dana Christensen’s term, which ends next year. Christensen resigned from the Council on April 30th due to a move out of town.
