Greene County head football coach thinks football 365 days a year. Tomorrow marks the start of the 2018 Gridiron Football Camp in Jefferson at Greene County High School. The camp is from 5-8 p.m. and it’s for those players going into third grade, all the way up to seniors in high school. There’s little doubt the second year head coach of the Rams is ready to get the season underway. “I’m as excited for this season to begin as I was back at (Wisconsin) Whitewater and we were coming off National titles. It’s so fun, and it’s the reason I came to this level because I wanted to make an impact on kids, both on and off the field. I hope I’ve done that, all with our coaching staff. These kids have worked so hard the last 18 months we’re excited to see all that effort pay off on the football field.”

The camp is Monday and Tuesday. Official practice for Greene County, and all Iowa high school football teams, and other Fall sports teams, begins on Monday, Aug. 6.
