Multiple Raccoon Valley Radio local high school football teams will spend the weekend in Adel taking part in the Simpson College Team camp. One of those squads includes the Panorama Panthers under the direction of first-year head coach Michael Kauzlarich. Kauzlarich was on last Monday’s Guthrie County PM Sports Page talking about his team’s involvement in the camp. “We’re really excited about matching up against other teams,” Kauzlarich said, “There’re quality teams from around the area (coming to this camp), and that’s really exciting for our guys to see what kind of work we’ve put in this summer.”
Other Raccoon Valley local schools taking part in the Simpson College team camp include the Greene County Rams and the ADM Tigers. The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays, the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks, the Earlham Cardinals, the North Polk Comets, and the West Marshall Trojans will also participate in the camp this weekend. The 2018 Panorama Panthers football season begins Friday, August 24 on the road against Fort Dodge St Edmond.
