jefferson-public-libraryThe Kids Summer Reading Program at the Jefferson Library will be having their final party next week.

All participants are invited to the final party on Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson from 1 to 2:30pm. Those four-year-olds to fifth graders that completed the program will receive a free book bag with certificates, t-shirts, and a paperback book from the program sponsors. Plus, there will also be prizes for those that read the most minutes, as well as the summertime contests and drawings. The grand prize winner will receive a new bicycle.

The program started on June 1st and participants were asked to not only read books throughout the summer but complete various activities to earn prizes.
