Perry School Board 6-11

At the most recent Perry School Board meeting, several appointments were approved for the coming school year.

Most of the appointments were carried over from last year, such as Business Manager Kent Bultman remaining the Board Secretary and Treasurer. However, the appointments for the Level I Student Abuse by School Employee Investigators changed a bit. Superintendent Clark Wicks was appointed to the position last year and will continue, while Mel Raskie was a new appointee as investigator, though she had filled the role in the past. Police Chief Eric Vaughn will also continue as the Level II Investigator.

The Board also appointed Raccoon Valley Bank as the primary depository, with a limit of $15 million. They also named supplemental depositories, including: U.S. Bank, with a $2 million limit; Wells Fargo, with a $3 million limit; and the Iowa School Joint Investment Trust (ISJIT), with a $6 million limit. Other appointments included: Angelica Cardenas-Diaz as District Equity and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action officer, as well as the District’s Homeless Coordinator; Kevin Vidergar as Section 504 Coordinator; and Laura Skeel as Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator.
