The Jefferson City Council met Tuesday night in regular session.
The Council approved the preliminary and final plats for the Greene County Development Corporation East Business Park, for phase one of the subdivision to sell four individual lots. The Council also hired Emily Vander Wilt as the Assistant Parks and Recreation Director, and they approved the Board of Adjustment recommendation for a variance request for Deb Monthei at 507 West Russell Street to create a breezeway and build a single-vehicle garage.
The Council tabled their decision on the quarterly funding request for Greene County Development Corporation and the golf course equipment purchase due to the individuals of those groups not being at the meeting. Additionally, Council member Larry Teeples announced that the recommendation from the streets/sewer committee to enter an engineering contract with Bolton and Menk for designs to install generators at the City’s lift stations was going to go back to committee for further review.
