StuartThe Stuart City Council will meet in a special session tonight.

The Council will begin the meeting by revisiting the development agreement with Karl Chevrolet for their expansion efforts. The agreement was discussed during the general meeting earlier this month, but was tabled due to final negotiations. The Council will then seek to adopt and designate the proposed plan for the 2018 Housing Revitalization Area.

They will then continue ongoing discussions on 2018-2019 employee wages. The discussions center around employee evaluations and health insurance compensation. Other action items include approval of a new hire for the Stuart Police Department and the addition of an emergency siren near the Wambold properties.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers at Stuart City Hall.
